Gentle
Touch Puppy
& Dog Training
Angela DiMeglio has been working as a puppy
and dog trainer since 1989. She credits her past beloved pet, Maya
and her current dearly loved dog, Athena as being master teachers
in negotiating between the world of canine and human. DiMeglio uses
gentle and positive reinforcement techniques in her training. Most
training is done off leash using lure-based methods to facilitate
the behaviors desired. The establishment of a good relationship between
the dog and human is essential to training. DiMeglio's goal is to
make all sessions with the puppy or dog fun. The aim is to intermingle
play with obedience so that the pup or dog is unable to differentiate
between the two. This creates time between the canine and person
that is enjoyable, fun and life bonding between the two.

water, and have no side effects or contraindications. They can be used
in conjunction with any other treatments, western or alternative.
Issues that may be helped with Flower Essences
include:
- Fears and Anxieties – insecurity, neediness, nervousness,
separation anxiety
- Rescue and Shelter Adoption – to heal emotional issues caused by
abuse and neglect
- Compulsive or Self-destructive Behaviors
- Household Stresses – job stress, divorce, illness of family member
- Acclimatization to a new home or family member
- Training – aids in focusing, learning and performance
- Support for recovery from illness, surgery or trauma
- Hospice – support for end of life and transition
Consultations
I am a certified
Flower Essence Practitioner, and conduct consultations over the telephone
and ship essence formulas through the mail. In
creating a personalized Flower Essence formula I choose from hundreds
of Flower Essences from systems such as the Alaskan Flower Essence
Project, the Bach Flower Remedies, the North American Flower Essences
from FES, Desert Alchemy, and more.
The best results from Flower Essence therapy
come with working together through several month-long cycles. Animals
tend to release issues more quickly than people, and once a problem
has resolved continued use of essences is generally not needed.
My consultation fees for animals are $40
for the initial consultation, $20 for follow-up sessions. The
dosage bottles (one month’s treatment) are $10 for ½ oz (small animals)
and $15 for 1 oz (large animals) and shipping is $5.
